Evolv Express Basic Operations Course (All Versions) (EXPR-ALL-100)


Description
Note: This course is an update from the previous Version 7.0 course and encompasses all versions of Evolv scanners (Gen1 Standard, Gen1 (Outdoor) Toughbase, and Gen 2).

Exploring this module, users of Evolv Express will gain knowledge necessary to effectively operate any version of the scanner. Operating the scanner is presented in two roles, Flow Control and Alert Resolution. Through this course, we will undertake the basics of the Express through the understanding of the tablet display and its function. This module includes interactive lessons designed to assist learners with recognizing and resolving alerts while staffing the Express.

Individuals who should take this module:
- those tasked with staffing the Flow Control position
- team members assigned to Alert Resolution positions
- supervisors or administrators who manage the Express and operational staff
- personnel who will service, maintain and/or transport the Express scanner

Upon completion of this module, the learner will be able to:

* Identify differences between the Gen1 Standard, Gen1 Toughbase, and Gen2 scanners.
* Describe the components that make up the Evolv Express hardware or software.
* Power on the scanner and prepare the scanner for daily operations.
* Identify and perform navigation tasks for Flow Control and Alert Resolution tablets.
* Understand the meaning of a displayed alert and the associated actions to take.
* Perform staffing positions of the Flow Control and Alert Resolutions positions effectively.

This course contains a quiz and it completes with an online certificate upon a passing score. This certificate does not certify an operator in any site-specific security protocols or procedures. Security protocols for handling potential threats are NOT included in this lesson. Operators should refer to site personnel for site-specific screening procedures.

This course should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
